It’s Sunday morning, a new and sunny day, and the time to concoct something healthy, while the two of us chatter on the balcony, making plans for the future recipes.
Forest fruit smoothie
A beverage of such a vibrant color, and also very healthy. An unthinkable combination of ginger and flaxseeds. You wonder what’s flaxseed doing there? It’s an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, phosphorus, calcium, potassium and vitamins. It rich in cellulose fibers. Some research has proved it has a good influence on the prevention of heart diseases, diabetes and the breast cancer. Meaning, it’s not good just to carry it, but consume it too.
components
- 250 gr forest fruit
- 2 teaspoons flaxseed
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger
- 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cups rice or almond milk (plain milk can do too)
Instruction
- Combine all ingredients and mix them in blender
- For the ones that don’t have problems with their figure, it can be served with cream
A healthy and simple way to start a new day.
