Add sage leaves. Let them boil for no more than 30 seconds, after which you should remove them from the burner. <\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>Take the figs out of the sauce to filtrate it successfully, and then put them back.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>First put 2 tablespoons of red wine sauce in the meringue cup, then using a decoration spritz add some vanilla cream to fill the cup.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>On top of the vanilla cream, cover it with wine sauce again and add some pouched figs. <\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>You can slice the two remaining figs into quarters and decorate the plate, and of course, eat them afterwards. <\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>Add some fresh chopped walnuts on the top. <\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>There is some serious competition at <strong>Sneska&rsquo;s.<\/strong> Both the younger and the older ones started cooking there. Soon there is going to be a deficit of figs on the market. Market sellers won&rsquo;t know where they got so much attention because not everyone is familiar with our <a href=\"http:\/\/sneskodomacica.blogspot.rs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopenner noreferrer\">Snesko housewife<\/a> and its game<strong> &lsquo;God how many of us&rsquo;, <\/strong>themed with figs.<\/p>\n<p>Now, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Putovanjesaukusom\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopenner noreferrer\">Savory trips<\/a><\/span> has its own racing horse. Not just one, but the two of them \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>One of them is a savory variation, you remember the<strong> recipe<\/strong> we tried a couple of days ago, <a href=\"http:\/\/savourytrips.com\/recipe-items\/sveze-smokve-sa-kozijim-sirom\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopenner noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And, as a second variation, I thought for a long time what would be something that would be different from everything you&rsquo;ve already see, to be a simple recipe, but rich in flavor.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24143\" src=\"https:\/\/savourytrips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Puslice-u-kremu-od-vanile-i-svezim-smokvama_4-1.jpg\" alt=\"How to make meringue in vanilla cream with fresh figs\" width=\"1800\" height=\"1200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/savourytrips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Puslice-u-kremu-od-vanile-i-svezim-smokvama_4-1.jpg 1800w, https:\/\/savourytrips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Puslice-u-kremu-od-vanile-i-svezim-smokvama_4-1-230x153.jpg 230w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1800px) 100vw, 1800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There were many ideas, such as <strong>fresh figs in puff pastry, fresh figs covered in blue cheese, fresh figs and brie cheese, savory or sweet tart with fresh figs, <\/strong>but it all seemed to me we have already tried. I am not saying we should forget about such great recipes, but we should add something new to them, something different.<\/p>\n<h2>Meringue in vanilla cream with fresh figs<\/h2>\n<p>How did I come up with the idea of combining <strong>meringue <\/strong>with fresh figs? Very simply, I needed a cup for figs, something where I could place them. What to make a cup of? There were various ideas&hellip; one of them even included bacon \ud83d\ude42 but, I said to myself, it would be better if it&rsquo;s something <strong>sweet and airy.<\/strong> That is how I remembered <strong>meringue,<\/strong> and a cup made of meringue mixture was an ideal solution since you can color it in any shade (I picked green).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24145\" src=\"https:\/\/savourytrips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Puslice-u-kremu-od-vanile-i-svezim-smokvama.jpg\" alt=\"How to make meringue in vanilla cream with fresh figs\" width=\"1800\" height=\"1200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/savourytrips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Puslice-u-kremu-od-vanile-i-svezim-smokvama.jpg 1800w, https:\/\/savourytrips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Puslice-u-kremu-od-vanile-i-svezim-smokvama-230x153.jpg 230w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1800px) 100vw, 1800px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>How did we prepare meringue?<\/h2>\n<p>I made the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coolinarika.com\/recept\/puslice\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopenner noreferrer\">meringue<\/a> mixture by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coolinarika.com\/klub\/jelena123\/o-meni\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopenner noreferrer\"><strong>Jelena123<\/strong><\/a> recipe, it&rsquo;s only that I used 200g of sugar, since 280g makes it really sweet. It&rsquo;s better to do so because we are going to prepare <strong>wine sauce<\/strong> as well, and there is some additional sugar there. You can do it as you like, it can be either 200 g or 280 g, it&rsquo;s up to you.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The entire meringue recipe is:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 egg white<\/p>\n<p>200 g of sugar (it has to be added gradually)<\/p>\n<p>A pinch of salt<\/p>\n<p>In my case, some green food color, to make them livelier and cheerful<\/p>\n<p>8-10 minutes of mixing (1 minute on low speed, and then to the fastest)<\/p>\n<p>Cake and meringue forming spritz<\/p>\n<p>My <strong>meringue<\/strong> was even more special because my daughter made them with a spritz \ud83d\ude42 her mum loves her J They turned out a bit more rustic in shape, but real homemade ones \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<h2>How did we make cups?<\/h2>\n<p>We shaped a desired size of the circle, i.e. the cup basis on the baking paper with a pen. Then, we first filled in the original circle with a spritz, spinning and squeezing the content from the spritz into the circle. After we had filled in the basis, we continued that spinning with the spritz just on the outer side, leaving a hole in the middle where we will later put wine sauce and vanilla cream. Thus formed meringues were dried in the oven for 2 hours at 120&deg;C.<\/p>\n<h2>How did we use wine?<\/h2>\n<p>And now the wine we mentioned. We used <strong>wine<\/strong> to <strong>poach the figs<\/strong>, and later as a topping. Figs are poached for a very short time, no more than 30 seconds. The goal is not to make them lose their original texture. If you follow the recipe, when you taste the <strong>meringue in vanilla cream with fresh figs, wine sauce <\/strong>will start <strong>coming like an avalanche, <\/strong>when you grab your first bite (at least it did so in my case).<\/p>\n<h2>Vanilla cream<\/h2>\n<p>I didn&rsquo;t use sweet cream to prepare the vanilla cream, I used whipped cream instead.
