Weekend without a chocolate pleasure cannot happen, and it&rsquo;s the rule this time as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Before we relax and start enjoying in chocolate, it is important to know some of the legends about it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\t\t<div class=\"recipe-info columns-2\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"title\">10 minutes<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"sub-title\">COOKING<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"title\">Easy<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"sub-title\">PREPARE<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"recipe-ingredients recipe-tabs\" id=\"recipe-tabs\">\n\t\t<div class=\"tab-items\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<button class=\"active\" data-collapse=\"#recipeTabs0\" data-parent=\"#recipe-tabs\">How to prepare<\/button>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"tab-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"recipeTabs0\" class=\"collapse show\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"recipe\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>components<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>300 grams of dark chocolate<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>200 grams of mascarpone cheese<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>2 tablespoons of the vanilla extract<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ingredients\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>Instruction<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>Break 150 grams of dark chocolate into smaller and equal pieces.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>Melt it on steam.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>When it cools off, pour it into mold and spread over the edges with a painting brush.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>Place baking paper and on it turn the mold upside down so that chocolate would additionally cover the edges and the rest of it go out of the mold.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>Leave chocolate to cool and hardens in the mold while you make the frosting.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>For frosting, melt the remaining 150 grams of chocolate on steam and leave to cool off a bit.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>When it cools off, add the mascarpone cheese and the vanilla extract and mix it well.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>Put the icing in the icing bag and use it to fill chocolate molds (to the top).<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>When you\u2019ve filled the chocolate mold, leave it for 60 minutes to cool at room temperature, and then put them in the fridge for additional 60 minutes, after which you\u2019ll successfully manage to pull the chocolate from the mold. <\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Chocolate<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">The name of the original chocolate product, i.e. chocolate drink is xocoatl (<strong>SHOW-CO-LA-TIL- chocolati<\/strong>&ndash; translated as &lsquo;bitter water&rsquo;) and it dates back to times of Mayas and Aztecs. Only the elite and the royal family had the chance to enjoy this magical beverage in the times of Aztecs, before Spain conquered New Mexico. Thank God that times are over!<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>History<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\"><strong>Chocolatl<\/strong> was served with water (without milk, or sugar) and it was added different flavors: chilly, honey, vanilla.&nbsp;It was considered a sour beverage. There&rsquo;s a Mayan myth that the grain was given to men by God. Mayas used to celebrate the New Year with the story of god <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Virginia_opossum\" rel=\"nofollow noopenner noreferrer\">Oposum<\/a><\/span><\/span> carrying the god of rain on his back and offering grains of coco. You can see what it looked like in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dresden_Codex\" rel=\"nofollow noopenner noreferrer\">Dresden Codex<\/a><\/span><\/span>, and for the ones who might not know, that is the only Mayan book that survived the attack of Spanish conquerors who burned down all the libraries. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Coco was served only during religious ceremonies and at the weddings. That&rsquo;s when people would enjoy the coco drink just like we enjoy in coffee today. As coco became more and more popular and wanted, it affected Aztec&rsquo;s economy. When Aztecs conquered Mayas, Mayas had to pay them some sort of tax in coco grains. Grains were kept under the lock. Aztecs used them to pay for food, clothes, taxes, gifts&hellip; just like it is today to have a pocket full of cash.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">According to another legend, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Quetzalcoatl\" rel=\"nofollow noopenner noreferrer\">Quatzacoatl<\/a><\/span><\/span>, the Aztec god of wind and learning, came down to earth to teach mortals how to grow coco and how to make its grains into a beverage. Doing so, he enraged other gods, so they threw him out of the Paradise, because he shared the holy beverage with mortals.
