Cocoa spice / Kako se pravi čokolada? / How to make chocolate

Cocoa spice how to use it in every day cooking?

Cocoa seeds are a basic ingredient in any chocolate. Have you had the opportunity to taste cocoa seeds? I did when I was at the cocoa plantation in the Dominican Republic. It has a strong – bitter taste and needs to be fermented to have a better aroma. After that, the seeds need to be dried, usually, plain air is the best and then roasted … and then further processed to get cocoa butter, and cocoa solids.

And how in fact we finally get to our favorite chocolate we’ve already learned here.

And then how it looks like in modern production we have here

You know what they say about butter or margarine “you can mix them in everything”, so I like to say that for cocoa spice or chocolate. And I don’t think I’ll be wrong.

It mixes in both salty and sweet, you just have to choose what you like 🙂 more

Thus….
